וַֽ֠תַּעֲלֶה וַתֵּצֵ֨א מֶרְכָּבָ֤ה מִמִּצְרַ֙יִם֙ בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ מֵא֣וֹת כֶּ֔סֶף וְס֖וּס בַּחֲמִשִּׁ֣ים וּמֵאָ֑ה וְ֠כֵן לְכָל־מַלְכֵ֧י הַחִתִּ֛ים וּלְמַלְכֵ֥י אֲרָ֖ם בְּיָדָ֥ם יֹצִֽאוּ׃ (פ)
Tout attelage montant d’Égypte revenait à six cents pièces d’argent, et un cheval à cent cinquante. C’est dans les mêmes conditions qu’ils les exportaient pour tous les rois des Héthéens et pour ceux d’Aram.

And a single horse for one hundred fifty. We deduce that a chariot consisted of four horses.17If a single horse was exported for 150 silver pieces, and a chariot was exported for 600 silver pieces, obviously a chariot consisted of four horses.
